The screen that added with this device had slower transfer of video from one screen to another, but this was a minor inconvenience. Now the device doesn't work at all, and I expect that the 'problem' is that I have updated my Mac to OSX 10.13. Maybe they don't have a driver for this? Maybe one is coming?

I initially hooked up my MacBook Air via the HDMI adapter to a Samsung 23' display that did not have a lot of bells and whistles. It would not work at the monitor's optimal 1080P setting; the monitor would just flash on and off every second or so, and even though it worked on the 720p setting, that made resolution too big for my main 24' monitor which uses the built-in display port. Fortunately the Samsung monitor also had a VGA input, so dug up an old cable and changed the adapter so it would work at the 1920 x 1080 optimal setting. So lots of screen real estate and no issues. Only recommendation is to make sure the monitor you want to drive is not too big for the parameters of the card. I would recommend this item to a friend!

Reviewer: Anonymous Location: Silicon Valley, CA Age: 55-65 Experience Level: IT Professional Rating: 4/5 HDMI does not include Audio March 16, 2016 While the Video capabilities have been mentioned by other reviewers, please note that if you intend to use HDMI that you will NOT get Audio thru to your HDMI device. This is due to the design interfacing from USB-to-DVI and then using a DVI-to-HDMI adaptor plug.
So this may be the exact device you are looking for at a great price, but just be aware that it would not work if you needed HDMI with Audio (my application). I would recommend this item to a friend! Note the advice that not rely on this adapter for fast motion, as the latency is too low over USB, but for display adapter is perfect. I would recommend this item to a friend! I now use 3 huge displays (including the laptop one). The product is plug and play providing the fact you download and install a small software (read the enclosed note to go to the dedicated website). I strongly recommend it.
