I've recently installed Office for Mac 2016 on an iMac running El Capitan. With Office 2013 I had no problems printing or saving a spreadsheet. Now when I try to print with my HP Officejet 7612, a spreadsheet with logos and colored cells (both fill and fonts) will only print one page, black and with, and no images. I essentially get one page with the cells that have content, printed in black and white.
I also used to be able to save every page of a spreadsheet as a PDF (for instance an invoice where the client copy is in color, my copy, the second page, in black and white. Now PDFs only save one of the pages. Microsoft is wonderful, and I mean that sarcastically, at changing how things work with every iteration of its applications. Is this a change in the default save, view or printer settings? Secondly, I often work with spreadsheets that have multiple sheets, often copying and pasting cells from one sheet to another. I used to be able to copy from one sheet and paste as many times to another sheet or sheets as I wished. With Excel 2016, however, anything I copy to the clipboard is lost if I go to another sheet and create a new cell, row or column first.
With any operation I make on the second sheet before pasting, the clipboard goes blank and there is nothing to paste, In other words, if I want to copy a row or column from one sheet to another, I first have to create a new, blank column or row in the second sheet. Then I can go back to the first, copy what I want, go back to the second sheet and paste. If I just copy a row rrom one sheet, go to another and create blank row then try to paste what I copied previously, it's gone.
There is nothing on the clipboard. I'm at a loss.
Well here's an update. Still have no idea what is going on as this did not happen with Office 2013 for Mac, my previous install. But I have discovered since posting that although all my invoices like the one above were created with the same template, not all of them are converting to the black and white, no image version shown above. I printed another invoice just fine, came out in full color exactly as what I saw and sent to the printer. So I'm just using the one that works as a template now.
You have to possibly change a Preferences in Excel 206. Go to Excel Menu → Preferences. Choose (click on checkbox) from Preferences, View. Make sure at least For Objects, Show is set as shown. Then quit out of Preferences. Next go to Page Layout Tab on Ribbon.
Go to page Set up Button and click. This should appear. Make sure none of the Print Options are checked (unless you have specific reason), especially Black and White.

Jones, C.E.T. I appreciate the effort, Phillip, but did you see my last update/post where I found that a different spreadsheet, made with the same template, prints just fine? At this point I've only opened up a few old invoices to update and make a new one to send to the same person.
Some print fine, others like my example above, no rhyme or reason I can determine. I'm pretty sure Preferences would affect EVERY document, but just for grins I did check those preferences you show and they are exactly the same as yours. At this point I'm just resolved to replacing all spreadsheets not printing correctly using the ones that do as a template.
