It can take you longer to finish though and become a bit tedious overtime, but I always try this workflow whenever I have time to spend.
You basically have to snapshot a frame of the movie you're color grading, export it to Lightroom, make all the corrections and gradings there, copy them as a preset and apply it to this 'hald' file generated by the program (a lut converted to a png image with a lot of colors). The program will then read the differences between the original hald and the new one with the corrections applied, then it will create a.cube file that you can import via lumetri in premiere to use as a lut. They explain it so MUCH better in their website and there are some videos also on youtube that are easier to follow. Again, not so practical if you're on a tight deadline, but the results are gorgeous!
IWLTBAP LUT Generator is a free utility for macOS which lets you generate a LUT from any photo- or video-editing application, Lightroom, Camera RAW, and more. A lookup table (LUT) is a file containing math instructions to replace a color by another one. This process is done pixel-by-pixel, yielding a very high accuracy. A HALD is a 3D LUT converted into 2D image as JPG or PNG file. The HALD is a pattern containing all color values (pixels) for a specific size of grid.
The bigger the grid, the better color accuracy of the output generated LUT. Important note: a Look-Up Table (LUT) can only affect colors, contrast, brightness, gamma, etc. So you can't add grain, noise reduction, vignetting, sharpen or any other dynamic effects. If you apply this kind of elements on the PNG HALD, the output LUT may be corrupted! Examples of use:. Convert Lightroom presets for video purpose. Use the power of Adobe Camera Raw on video.
